Rosin Modified Maleic Resin (2016)

This rosin modified maleic resin is the compound adduct of gum rosin and maleic adhydride that are esterified by glycerol or pentaerythritol. It is a solid substance in light yellow transparent color.

Characteristics
Our product offers general solubility in the coal tars, esters and turpentine oil. Yet it is difficult to be dissolved in the alcoholic solvent. It can be partially dissolved in petroleum solvent and totally soluble in plant oils. This substance performs with stabile color, outstanding yellowing and heat resistance, high adhesion and other highlights.

Application
Commonly applied in the industries of paints and coatings, this rosin modified maleic resin plays an importance role in fabricating the phenolic paints through polymerization with plant oils, optimizing the hardness of paint films, gloss and rubbing performance of the polyesters, nitro and PU paints, etc.

Package
Every 25kg of products in bead or flake will be packed in a craft paper bag or plastic intertexture bag. The specific package is supplied according to the demands of customers.
