The hydrophilic fumed silica is type of white, non-toxic, odorless and amorphous inorganic fine chemistry product made of chlorosilane with pyrohydrolysis under the oxy-hydrogen flame state. The hydrophilic fumed silica is used also to strengthen the fillers in the silastic system (HTV, RTV).

Tianyi Chemical offers HS971, HS973 and HS975 hydrophilic types with some different characteristics. The fumed silica can improve different properties of same products at the same time. It's generally used to add some properties like thickening thixotropy, suspension and transparency to coatings, adhesives, cosmetics, oils, plastics or rubber products.

The hydrophilic fumed silica makes the dry powder and grainy or pelletized materials flow freely. It takes very important role in cosmetic and chemical industry series product nowadays. It controls the flowing property in the adhesive and sealants and it has also anti-deposit, anti-flowing and anti-thixotropy properties for the coatings and oil ink system.

The hydrophilic fumed silica is used in electronic products, paper, medicine, cosmetic, toothpaste, plastic and many other applications. It comes in a 10 Kg bag and it should be preserved in a dry, shady and cool place.
